Convenient location close to Hard Rock Cafe and Akihabara, so there's plenty to do nearby 🍔. the surroundings are really nice, and the food options were quite good.

Straightforward and spotless place overall with handy location on a cruise ship. Location short walk to Hard rock cafe. For tea or coffee visit Ueshimakohi nearby. Incredibly attentive staff at the night shift, nicely furnished, neat rooms. Comfortable bed, central heating, television and a fridge in the room...

The hotel is very close to the Ueno JR station (上野駅) so if you're going to be visiting Tokyo, it's very handy as you're likely to take the Yamanote Line (山手線) a lot.
No breakfast included.

location is so convenient, you just need to walk about 5 min to take the subway or JR line.

Despite the inconvenience of the location, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They were always available at the reception desk to answer any questions or assist with any requests. Another positive aspect was the cleanliness of the room. The housekeeping staff did a good job in keeping the room tidy and well-maintained. However, these factors were not enough to compensate for the inconvenient location and small room size.
The location of this hotel was quite inconvenient, as it was not within walking distance of any major transportation stations. It was a hassle having to take multiple trains or buses just to get to the city center or popular tourist spots.

The staff of the hotel was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. 5 mn walk from Ueno station with yamanote line for who has the JR pass, the Ueno park and lots of good restaurants !!! I recommend this hotel !
The double room is very very small.. you have to be aware of it.

The location is near to the Ueno Station which is connected to all the train lines' exchange point
It is a little small, hardly any space to open the suitcase

We recently stayed at Ueno Touganeya and were impressed with the spaciousness of the family room. Our son loved the bunk bed, and there was even a sitting area. The hotel's location was perfect, with plenty of food options nearby and easy access to transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our check-in and check-out process a breeze. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Tokyo.

Staff really kind and available. Position of the hotel excellent for visiting Ueno, Asakusa, Akihabara, Ginza, Tsukiji; really near to Metro Station (3 minutes walk). We had really a good stay.
There wasn't enough space to open both our luggage...but it didn't matter.

The hotel´s location is perfect if you want to be near the JR Ueno train station and Skyliner train station.
The rooms are very small, even compared with another hotels we stayed in Tokio. The relation price-room is not the best you could find in Tokio.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
